Wipe Clean After Soaked In Boiled Water

I bought a new cartridge for my dad’s printed at hometown. After few weeks, there’s nothing printed. I suspected that the print head is now clogged.

Today, I’m going to share how to de-clogging a clogged printer cartridge. Please note that this sharing is applicable to inkjet printer with print head attached to the cartridge.

Basically this technique has been shared by a seller from a printer shop that I visited recently.

Steps:

  1. Boil maybe a cup/glass of water.
  2. Soak the printer head in the boiled water for a few minutes.
  3. Wipe it clean
  4. Put back the cartridge into the printer.
  5. Have a test print. If the print result still no 100% OK, you may use the printer tools available on your computer to tune it.

** above tested/done on HP 678 cartridge.
