Terdapat desas desus menyatakan bahawa mungkin akan ada software update ke atas Hyptv Set Top Box – Huawei EC6108V8 oleh pihak TM dan update itu mungkin akan menyebabkan applikasi yg dipasangkan tidak lagi berfungsi.
Di sini saya kongsikan bagaimana untuk mematikan fungsi auto update pada Hyptv Set Top Box – Huawei EC6108V8. Diharapkan panduan ini dapat membantu dalam menghalang software update tersebut.
1) Buka tetapan Hyptv Set Top Box – Huawei EC6108V8. Jika anda menggunakan launcher asal, tetapan adalah icon di tengah, antara Playstore dan Browser. Jika anda menggunakan launcher 3rd party eg TV launcher, anda mungkin akan dapati ada dua icon setting. Sila pastikan anda melancarkan tetapan asal box Hyptv Set Top Box – Huawei EC6108V8 yg akan melancarkan tetapan berlatar belakang berwarna biru seperti pada langkah kedua.
2) Pergi ke menu System Upgrade. Masukkan 3008 pada kotak maintenance code dan tekan confirm.
3) Muka Set Upgrade akan keluar. Tekan butang BACK supaya keseluruhan alamat pada kotak ‘Server Address’ terpadam dan tekan confirm. Masuk semula ke menu system upgrade untuk pastikan kotak ‘Server Address’ benar2 telah kosong.
*** method ini telah digunapakai oleh pengguna Hyptv Set Top Box – versi V5 silver untuk menghalang software update dan berdasarkan input mereka, ia mampu menghalangnya.
*** SEKIRANYA ANDA INGIN MEMBUAT FACTORY RESET, PASTIKAN BOX TIDAK BERSAMBUNG DENGAN INTERNET. TANGGALKAN LAN CABLE DAN JUGA DISABLE KAN WIFI. SEKIRANYA MASIH BERSAMBUNG, PROSES UPDATE AKAN DIJALANKAN KETIKA MEMBUAT FACTORY RESET.

dari playstore saya ada install utube dan juga berjaya cuma masalah saya ialah bila buka utube ada gambar video list dan remote up down tak berfngsi.

if I’m not mistaken, you need to download the apk from apkpure.com as the one in playstore will mention not compatible…
Noted that, now I’m still thinking want add the Play Store or not. Hahah… actually I want watch HK TV series
do u have file manager installed? i.e. es explorer? or 3rd party playstore? i.e. apkpure apps? or browser which supports download functionality? i.e. uc browser?
if one of the above questions answered as YES, then, u don’t need playstore at all..

u can use option 2 OR 3 as mentioned.
if any of these is not working, then, it is as told, box with 2017 in the serial number can’t use the recovery steps shared..

1) id playstore, bukak native Android setting. cari setting account, pilih account, remove.
2) id hyptv, bukak setting, cari iptv, tukar id.

lepas install update.zip, dah boleh pakai 3008 as maintenance code..

ads tu bukan dari firmware update. ads tu dari apps yg tinggal..

updated dh, xboleh reset box ke factory setting. kalo reset, mmg xdpt nk buek apo dh buat masa ni. kalo ad yg berjaya godek2 lg.. nnt jumpa la perkongsian kt internet..

just for watching hyptv channel and iflix i think. you may try to put movies in usb drive and read using the media browser to watch it..
i have new hypp tv white box android i was installing play store apps , but suddenly the box give me message and start to update automatically , after that restart nd flash every thing tm they remove all apps now i cant see play store and i cant root hypp tv , any more idea??
now when u want to root hypp tv they will ask the password any body knows the password for 4 characters ??
updated firmware? sad to say for the moment, the maintenance code is not yet available. no playstore, then nothing much can be done for the moment.
some one said 3008 still can use , so any body can help if we dont have password how to solve?
3008 is for those not updated to the latest one. even there’s a number for that, it is useless if it is updated.

3008 adalah untuk firmware versi lama. firmware versi baharu menggunakan kod berlainan yg mana saya sendiri masih belum punya maklumat
